Unfortunately, the Bus One-Day Pass was discontinued at the end of September 2023. The following informations are only for guests who have already purchased the Bus One-day Pass before September 2023.

2. Cost Effectiveness & Validity with Flat Fare Zone Map

By  Bus One-Day Pass , you can ride Kyoto City Bus , Kyoto Bus and JR Bus.
(You can NOT ride Keihan Bus)

If you ride a bus 4 times or more, please buy this One-Day Pass. (From October 2023, please purchase  Subway & Bus One-Day Pass  if you ride a bus and subway 5 times or more in total, due to the discontinuation of the Bus One-Day Pass.)

This Pass is valid only within Flat-Fare Zone.

It may be difficult to understand the limit of the zone.
But don’t worry, most famous spots are located within Flat-Fare area, such as Arashiyama, Fushimi Inari shrine, Kinkakuji temple (golden pavilion), Ginkakuji temple (silver pavilion), Gion, Kiyomizudera temple and Nijo castle.

Even Jingoji temple or Kouzanji temple in Takao area turnds into the Flat Fare Zone from March, 2021.

Famous areas located outside of the Flat-Fare Zone are Kurama, Kibune and Ohara (upper north area surounded by mountains) and Yamashina area (in the east of kyoto city).

Ohara and Yamashina area are covered by  Subway & Bus One-Day Pass .

To Kurama or Kifune area, Eizan railway is convenient.
