1. Operation Routes / Hours

 The map below is the route of Rakuraku-line Bus  No.105 , in whole Kyoto city.

Rakuraku-line Bus  No.105  connects Kyoto station and Ginkakuji temple (silver pavilion) by way of Shijo-Kawaramachi (downtown area), Heian Jingu shrine, Nanzenji temple, Eikando temple, Philosopher’s walk.
This bus is not express, so, it stops at every bus stop between Kyoto Station and Ginkakuji temple, and the fare is normal
 ¥230 (¥120 for a child). Of course, Subway & Bus One-day Pass is accepted (¥1100).

Compared with limited express bus  No.100 , One thing to note that this bus  No.105  does not go to Kiyomizu-temple, but, it is useful when you go to downtown area after visiting Ginkakuji temple.

Please note that this bus is operated every 30 minutes, and only on weekends & holidays.

From Kyoto Station :
9:00 a.m. – 4:40 p.m. 

From Ginkakuji-mae bus stop :
9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

on peak season such as cherry blossoms (from the end of March to the beginning of April) or autumun leaves (November), it takes more time to get to each attractions becouse of heavy traffic jam.

3. Bus Stop Guide at Kyoto Station

The bus stop for Rakuraku-line Bus  No.105  at Kyoto station is platform  A1 .

As mentioned before, the fare is ¥230 for an adult / ¥120 for a child (6 – 11 yares old) per ride, and is paid at the time of getting off.

No matter where you get off, the fare is the same.

If you plan to take other buses∗, subways, or especially limited express buses during the day, Subway & Bus One-Day Pass (¥1100 for an adult / ¥550 for a child) is recommended in some cases. including Kyoto City BusKyoto Bus, Keihan Bus or JR Bus.

You can buy the Subway & Bus One-Day Pass from vending machines in the Kyoto station bus terminal.
