 The map below is the route of Rakuraku-line Limited Express Bus  No. 100 , in whole Kyoto city.

Rakuraku-line limited express Bus  No. 100  connects Kyoto station and Ginkakuji temple (silver pavilion) by way of Kiyomizu temple, Gion area and Heian Jingu shrine.
This bus is limited express, so, it stops at only bus stops near Kiyomizu temple, Gion area, Heian Jingu shrine (Okazaki area) and Ginkakuji temple.
Actually, the travel time is shorter, but the fare is higher, ¥500 per ride for an adult (¥250 for a child)
, than usual ¥230 (¥120 for a child). So, Subway & Bus One-day Pass will be useful (¥1100).

Please note that this bus is operated only on weekends & holidays.

9:00 a.m. – 4:40 p.m. 

From Ginkakuji-mae bus stop :
9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 

This bus is operated every 15 min in the morning, and every 30 min in the afternoon.

Usually, local buses in Kyoto are boarded from the rear door and exited from the front because of paying the fares when you get off.

But, only Rakuraku-line limited express Bus No.100 (& 101) is boarded from the front door, and pay the fares when you get on, to prevent from delay.

on peak season such as cherry blossoms (from the end of March to the beginning of April) or autumun leaves (November), it takes more time to get to each attractions becouse of heavy traffic jam.

3. Bus Stop Guide at Kyoto Station

The bus stop for Rakuraku-line limited express Bus  No. 100  at Kyoto station is platform  D1 , near Bus Ticket Center building.

As mentioned before, the fare is ¥500 for an adult / ¥250 for a child (6 – 11 yares old) per ride, and is paid at the time of boarding.

No matter where you get off, the fare is the same.

If you plan to take other buses∗ or subways in addition to this limited express bus during the day, Subway & Bus One-Day Pass (¥1100 for an adult / ¥550 for a child) is recommended. including Kyoto City BusKyoto Bus, Keihan Bus or JR Bus.
